This is a macro that duplicates bottlecaps by using the well-known dupe exploit for junk, but applied onto settlement stores. The dupe exploit lets you store and scrap an object at the same time, essentially doubling it every time you try it on your items of choice. The same premise can be applied onto constructed objects in settlements, but it works a bit differently. Instead of doubling the materials directly, it instead refunds a portion of the used material back to you while storing the object, letting you place it back down again for free and do the exploit again to get more materials from nothing. Stores you scrap give you back a portion of your caps, so with this exploit successfully applied, you can essentially keep giving yourself bottlecaps.

All you need are some existing caps and junk to build the store itself and Rank 2 of the Local Leader perk (Level 14 and Charisma 6 needed). Once you are able to place down the most expensive store you can get, have your workshop menu be over the category of the store type you have just placed down and have your cursor be highlighting your store. Run the macro and it should successfully duplicate your caps and place down another store right after. Once you duplicate enough caps to get a more expensive store, rerun it with that one instead to get even more caps. Rinse and repeat until you're swimming in them!

Note that its not perfect. The macro works fine if you let it run once every time, but on a loop it can't do the exploit correctly. For best results, let it run every time you press an assigned button. I'll try to see if I can get it to work on a constant loop.
