2 item ethereal blade \ ghost scepter 
3 item - dagon 1 lvl, at the end make 5th (after item 6) 
Item 4 - Shiva's guard 
in the early going : dagger + ghost scepter + lvl 1 dagon + Shiva's guard + aganim, after improving to aterial and improve Dagon 
so you can make 5 of item a hex, but he better have no script to proimote, and long for dps is the best option.
